RCA Victor New Vista Solid State Stereo Console

This RCA Victor New Vista Solid State Stereo Console is ready for a complete mechanical and electrical restoration before returning home to its owner.

Manufactured during the mid-1960s, RCA’s New Vista line represented the next generation of home entertainment. As one of the first major manufacturers to embrace solid-state transistor technology, RCA created consoles that offered improved reliability, cooler operation, and less maintenance than the earlier tube-powered models—all while delivering the warm, room-filling sound families loved.

This particular console is a wonderful example of Mid-Century Modern design, featuring:

Clean walnut cabinetry

Elegant tapered legs

Distinctive sliding front panels

Built-in AM/FM stereo tuner

RCA record changer

Although this console has certainly seen decades of memories, it’s now time for the next chapter.

At RetroSound, every client-owned restoration receives the same attention to detail we would give our own family heirloom. We’ll carefully service the electronics, rebuild and lubricate the record changer, clean every control, restore proper performance, and ensure this classic is ready to provide many more years of music.

We can’t wait to share the transformation with you!

Stay tuned as we document the restoration process from start to finish.

Classic Design. Modern Reliability. Preserving Yesterday’s Music for Tomorrow.

Have you or your family ever owned an RCA Victor console? We’d love to hear your memories in the comments!
